i remember blow backs
blow back - exhaust gasses coming out of the carb
blow by - dipstick pops out and sprays oil everywhere

feels okay bit down on power tho but having to run t2 turbo at minute as my turbo died
do a compression test.
sounds like shes breathing heavy to me...
will do mate no pressure on dip stick or oil cap know i needed a turbo just reply about turbo to mate
anyone else got any more ideas wat it could be
Isn't it caused by worn rings?
worn rings, worn calve guides, broken pistons...
but if it's not breathing out of the dipstick or rocker cover it ain't happening...
dip stick not popping out mate and no preasure out of oil cap when lid is off.????

no not at all got some pictures to send to show where the oil is
that looks more like a fooked turbo
thats wat i hope well think dont know if they r just tryin to up the price
would oil drip out the bolts on the rear housing tho mate
yeah, it means oil is getting past the seals because they are knackered.
hope so spooky sent a turbo yesterday so should be here tomorrow for me
is the manifold itself dry?
yeah mate started it up today and than took turbo off was dry someone said it could be being push up from the sump
next time that person makes a suggestion pop your ear plugs in.
does this mean u think its a good chance its just the turbo got any test i could do
drop it off the end of the pier, if it sinks, it's knackered.
will put my new one on when it comes will let u know wat happens mate

you might need to understand why it failed, it's unlikely to just be old age, you need to satisfy yourself which of the following made it fail, and rectify.
it's been abused, not cooled down, over boosted...
dirty oil
low oil pressure
think that's it
