    The Secret of Monkey Island (special edition)

    Downloaded this on xbox live as i loved it as a kid... what a awesome job they have done on the revamp and still keeping to the classic rules..

    If any of you lot are sad like me and played many point and click adventures as a kid get hold of this as its a wkd blast to the past.

    I loved the Monkey Island games and still have all the originals on floppy disk and CD's.

    May look into this

    you get the idea, had them all on my dads old ibm 286? as a kid..

    awesome games

    With this new monkey island you can actually press the back button at any point during the games and it reverts to the old style graphics, its great to see how they have improved it however kept true to the original.

    I downloaded this last night for the PC and it's pretty entertaining. One question though, how do you go from one part of the island to the other without having to trek all the way using the mouse? I notice that when you go past the lookout point it gives you a birds eye view of the island and you can click roughly where you want to go, but this is the only place that gives you this option...

    I believe thats just how it is matey, ive just completed the three trials on this. the sword master was actually damn hard.
