    Front hub

New poster! (less than 10 posts)

My R5 has been standing in my garage for over a year and a half now rebuilding it. Anyway today i fitted the bigger brakes with the caliper extensions brackets, the o/s/f went on no problems but when i done the n/s/f the disc keeps catching the inside edge of the carrier as if the disc is badly warped. Under further investigation the axle bit of the hub looks bent when you spin it with disc off. The hub is re-con and is a year old that i got from cgb and has never been driven with it on or moved due to it being on axle stands. Just wondering has anyone had this problem before?

    Yes, too many of people.

Maybe he sold you one of a crashed car, and that wheel was bent in the collision.

The output flange is an interference fit with the inner part of the bearing. If it's bent then it's scrap. There no adjustment.
