Right, the time is getting ever closer...

As always, driving to an event in a group is so much better than on your own so put your name down of you want drive up in a convoy.

Me and Michelle ( my wife to be ) will be both driving up so you can look out for me and her in the 172

Convoy meeting point is the usual for our area...

9 a.m @ The Rat Trap, Highworth Rd, Swindon, Wiltshire, SN3 4TF.

It looks like a 2hr drive on a good run but I'd imagine after fuel stops, going for a detour etc it'll end up being nearer 3-4hrs

We need to leave as early as we can so the 9am start is reflecting that...

i think me an mr. m will be there by then...., what with the trailers i plan to leave very early and hope it makes it there...,id love to convoy but i feel id slow you guys down somewhat....

Don't worry about how long it'll take to get there, I'm not fussed...I'd rather get there in one piece at a steady pace which I'm sure you'll appreciate

SN3 4TF to LE9 7QE is the route I'm planning on taking us

Obviously this can be modified to suit other convoys that want join up etc.

I have decided the route we are going to take and this takes into consideration the possible traffic we may encounter enroute.

It'll also allow us to travel at our own pace. There are plenty places to stop for the odd pit stop as well

Our route from the Rat Trap is basically joining onto the A419 -> A429 -> A46 -> M69.

I'll be waiting in my car hopefully at around 8.00-8.30am; the earlier the better
