    End float / Thrust bearings.

    New poster! (less than 10 posts)

    Just rebuilding my engine (seals/Gaskets) and noticed alot of end float. Book say 0.05 - 0.23mm max. My float is 0.25mm. Can you buy just the thrust bearing to sort this or is more needed?? Engine 63K miles, rest all good!!

    you can buy standard and oversized thrusts. If you haven't replaced them standards should be fine.

    no idea where's cheapest, I just get mine from the guy who grinds my cranks.
