    Help?!

My 225's alarm randomly keeps going off and its doing my head in,
When i'm driving along the dash light sometimes beeps on saying my pasenger side door is open wen it isn't and all the interior lights come on and the alarm often goes off, think this might be because it thinks the door keeps opening?
This only seems to happen when it rains or has been washed.
Does anyone have any ideas or experienced this before?
And is there a way is silencing the alarm?

have you checked the switches on the door that operates the interior light? if thats faulty or not getting a good conection (esspecialy when its wet) it would operate the light and if your alarm has that feature it would activate....

do you know the make and model of the alarm?

    Re: Help?!

I'm with IANMM on this one. The wifes Galaxy had the same problem. Temporary fix for me was to turn off the interior lights inside the car so they didnt come on when the door was opened. To be honest I then forgot about the problem for ages and by the time I remebered it had sorted itself out. Not ideal I know as someone could have broken into the car and potentially the alarm would not have gone off.

    Re: Help?!

bridge it out then and see if the fault goes away....if it does then then fault is in the switch
