i nearly have my phase one grill repaired and ready for priming but i was just wondering has anyone chromed one of these and fitted it to a black car,i'd say it would look impressive!

Hi Michael,

If the grille is a custom metal item then i suppose you can chrome it?

If it's a fibreglass OE one then you can't chrome it.

yes you can chrome fibreglass and plastics as long as its painted with silver (metal) first ,

i was thinking that the new passat in black (or any dark colour)would'nt look as good if it didnt have a chrome grille!!
