Twin ones are for cars the with maf/map sensor so you do not need to know how they work
Twin piston is to assist air flow meter cars, otherwise when on vacum (idle) the valve will be open which will be fooling the air flow meter and giving lump idle. With a 2nd piston it basically has a 2nd spring and little plastic piston within so when the main piston is being sucked by vacum the other piston is being pushed with the 2nd spring over the hole.
Thanks for that info dudes. Im actually selling them so i better learn lol.
Ideal for the RS Turbos!
Not really a dump valve question but, what size Inner Diameter vacuum hose do you guys use for your dump valve and vacuum system. 3mm? 4mm?
4mm will be ok.
cheers fella
the 2nd piston stays shut on idle. thats pretty much there use so that the ecu dosnt get the wrong readings pushing up co2 levels at idle
tho i wouldnt fit one there be a revolt
