I had same thing not that long ago. I had the chance of a house at a good price from my boss. But i needed to raise 22.5k deposit (10%) plus all the fees and the house needed new kitchen, bathroom and generally needed bringing out of the 70s! so i had to sell my 911 and the mrs had to sell her TT in order to raise some money. Im now stuck driving a diesel vectra and she has a fiesta! but we also have a house. As my boss's son always says, a second class ride is better than a first class walk! My plan is to finish off the work on the house and then have it valued at the end of my 3yrs fixed. If its made enough ill sell and do another one, if not ill stay put for a while. Im lucky that i bought it well under its value plus the work ive done will only add value. I think you should sell up get ya house and enjoy it! Youve been lucky and had a T2 which most wont, and you never know what the future will bring? but at the end of the day you cant live and bring a family up in a car. Good luck with it all tho
