ok basicly going to be sorting out a rr day cross meet.
so if you want to come along enjoy the sights/sounds or get on the rollers and get some figures then come along, so bit of both realy,
so if you dont fancey going on the rollers, still come along as i want this to be not only a rr day but also a chance to meet others if you just want to say hi for a few hours or more, of course if you all get on the rr's then great!

the date it to be comfirmed but will likley be 25th saturday or 26th sunday

was going to arrange a rr day with redline tuning but he wants 60 quid a car and 40 if 10 cars then tryed telling me there all blow head gaskets, so i just thought bollocks

around the 130 figure but not sure, all i got is a flowed i/c. 15psi soon to be 18 if i get this sodding t3 acuater sorted and a 2,5" scorp apart from that nothing else.

cheers lads it'll be much appreciated, still not sure on my headgasket temp goes between the halfway and 3/4 mark and sits there, but i am running the fan constantly

If you dont run the rad fan when driving along does it keep getting hotter or does it stop rising after a while? Have you flushed the system out and put new coolant in, or maybe replaced the rad, always helps when running warm.

i do mate, i find my temps 1st mark crusing off boost
motorway driving i hit just over the 2nd mark and have to be carfull,

if i dont run the rad fan at tick over it sits just under the 2nd mark and when driving the light would come on,

but

my rad is ****ed i have a meter long hose as my top hose as mine has burst

so i dont expect mine to run cool with that!

Yeah its got new coolant in it aswell as running an alloy rad with new silicone hoses. If i switch the fan off it still stays between 1/2 and 3/4 but in traffic or stopping it goes up

ah thats cool,well ill be pushing 18psi
it had 20 but the t2 was fluttering so i turnt it right back down to 14, as i need a boost controler but dont really like using them
any idea what acuater is easy to fit and hold 18psi

maintanance and care and you'll never pop a headgasket

If you have got a OE set up, and made sure its all running correctly think the coolant temp will run just under the half way mark constantly and only rise when standstill

No. They run fine when in good order. Headgaskets pop mainly due to poor fueling.

Overheated engines warp the head which cause's the gasket to go, not come across one that has detted because the engine got hot only becuase the inlet charge is too hot.

track and road cant do 25th BUT i have done it for the 8th august which is 2 weeks after that, so we now have a full 2 months
only thing he did say is he want £10 deposit down the week before, as you can image there busy, so ethier a mod who ever can take deposits at any time till the 1st august and then its £35 a head so £25 payable on the day

so for those wanting to go 100% please can a mod step in, or im happy to take the deposit via paypal and i will pay respectivly with a name and username down,

if a deposit is a problem then he said he cant fit us in as were lucky to get that

now the first run will start at 11am so no bright and eairly starts, but also gives not only others 8 weeks now, but my self that extra 2 weeks to get sorted and another acuater lined up

I know i've somewhat hijacked the thread and should've posted up in the technical boards............but as i'm here , if i were to change the headgasket which is the best one to go for? might have got one tomoz if i can but it probably wouldn't be an uprated one, do you reckon that should be ok??

apprently oe reno ones are as good if not better then the claimed uprated ones,

a mls one would be the best!
