R11 Master Cylinder - same as GT Turbo?

Can anyone answer if the R11T master cylinder the same as a GT Turbo? Got a feeling it isn't but I haven't got a 5 here to compare against..

I hae R11T cylinder new in the box (77 01 349 254), genuine part & new in the box.

If it doesn't fit a 5 I won't be needing it so if an 11 owner would like it just drop me a PM, yours for the postage..

My 11's got a 5gtt unit fitted

it's not a straight fit but it can be made to fit

well , where is the noise coming from ?? what does it sound like etc?
some specifics would help to diagnose the problem

it makes a funny noise that starts and stops as it pleases weather braking on not , dose it when idleing along and when slowing down. dosent do it when the revs are up or accelerating.

ermmm i will be honest with you mate ,i sold my very last working crystal ball
on ebay the other week so you really need to be a bit more specific .

where exactly is the noise coming from ? is it rubbing ,clunking ,metal to metal
contact etc ??
you say it does it when idleing , why not open the bonnet and have a look
to see where its coming from
oh and what car is it ??

high pitched farting noise. sorry dosnt do it at stand still when ideling in motion.
going to start a thread regarding this issue later in the week when i have had a good look and sorted a few other issues out. cheers any way mate

is there a weird smell followed by the noise ??
shoot or kick out all fat farty birds out the back/front seat and
see if it does it again
