    differential oil seal

Have renewed this seal 3 times and is still leaking

Got a JB3 box with a gripper diff which was fitted last year. The seal started to leak a couple of months ago, the seals seem a good fit but still leak from middle of the seal.

    Any ideas please?

    Hi Dave,

You still having probs with that? am assuming its the splined shaft side on the drivers side of the box?

Thats the one Oli, still leaking and starting to make a mess, so want to sort it once and for all now.

i had the same problem with because of the gripper diff, the spline shaft moves in and out which causes it to leek the fix the problem i fitted two diff seals cut down the out side of edge of the second one to make it fit straight on top of the other seal
