Ive just read through the whole thread and though it would come to a decent climax, what a load of tripe. The time it has taken me to read all that no one can give me back, I have been robbed of part of my life

did the fella sort the probs with his r5 then, my mind lost track halfway thru reading the thread........ but 25 quid for a chump valve is rather cheap, was that new? if so what can you expect but for it to fail.... get a blitz valve ect if you want quality, or a standard bosch recirc if you want cheapness but avoid the surge sound. or fit the standard airbox as mentioned before, thibk i may have a spare one kicking about you can have aswell

i dont want a stock air box, nor surge, nor a recirc valve,

and what do i expect for £20 (not £25)
the valve was 3 months old used on a punto gtt, and then brought a ssqv d.valve, dam thats loud!!
