    How do you....

I'm trying to remove the clutch and some twonk thought it would be a good idea to use those crappy allen key bolts to bolt it down and in their wisdom they rounded off the allen key bit on two of the bolts. So I tried to drill it out a little and then ram a 7mm allen key in there... but to no avail So what other option do I have?

bang a socket over the top of them or try a nut remover. failing that, cut the cluch off with a ginder and then renew the flywheel and start again.

yeah I thought about the grinder approach... But I was going to send that flywheel off to be lightened, feck it... and then I'll have to find another one - it's a bloody pain in the arse

yup, hammer a 12 point socket onto the bolt, I forget what size - it'll be the one that almost fits...

Then fit new bolts of something better than the standard butter spec.

Angle grind it off then once the cover plate is removed soak what left in wd40 for a few hours then turn out the threaded bit with some mole grips

try the socket trick or welder first as there wont be much thread left to get mole grips on.
