    power of standard turbo and stuff?!

    New poster! (less than 10 posts)

    does anyone no how much bhp you can get out of a standard turbo? would i be right in saying with other mods, about 150bhp?! and also my fan is on a switch...how hard is it to connect it back to the tempature switch?

    Should be able to get an easy 150hp out of the standard T2 blower. It starts max'ing out around 170-180hp though.

    your fan is on a switch? hmmm should be connected so that it comes on still with out the switch, incase you forget.

    just trace the fan wires, and pop them back to the stat, then t- off from that with the switch/over ride wire.

    looks like they've just connected the switch straight to the fan, so im thinking there be a reason for it but im goona see wot happens anyway. cheers guys

    change the stat/switch, plumb it in as per norm as it should be, then add the manual switch.
