Well me and Phil, went around JRP's yesterday whilst he was @ work we decided to spit roast his hmmmm

(sorry John). Oops I mean't we done some work to JRP's 5 and to be honest there isn't much left to do now before the car can be put in for an MOT all that is left to do is

Replace Dash,
Replace Passenger seat,
Replace lower interior plastics,
Replace Heather fan cover / guard (scuttle),
Tighten coolant pipes in engine bay to heater matrix,
Drain engine oil and put new in oil in,
Remove and renew all calipers due to knackered and snapped nipples (Allthough we could drill and tap),
Fit braided brake lines,
Bleed brake system,
Bonnet to be fitted,
Tailgate Badge,
Fit refurbed speedlines,
Upload more pics of progress

Don't worry dave, I've got some that James picked up from johns a few weeks ago. I'll send them too ya, the unfortunate thing is they are crotchless and so haven't retained their full essence.

John, for all the time we've been chatting on PM I've never looked at this thread, in fact I didn't even know it was a rebuild project, lol. So I've just gone through all 9 pages to bring myself up to speed with what's been goin' on since April last year....

Well, I love coming to a project thread to find almost everything is done and I don't have to wait long to see the finished product

original ones but cleaned up, i hate it when the bits on wing mirrors are sprayed the colour of the car as opposed to what they should be ... grey/blacky.

Well done the lads, not so much me; with the back probs during most the resto, the guys have worked there bollocks off at times. Glad i got good mates

She's looking dead good Jerp. I'm going to have to get my finger out on mine. I can't tell very well on this little phone screen but lowered rear and front kept standard?

Just a little tip I discovered for cleaning black"dimple" finish plastics, apply a small drop of olive oil on a microfibre cloth rub in well then rub off. It sounds mad but does work. It won't work miracles with old faded plastics but will clean old polish etc away..
