RETRO GOLD Reanult 5 TL project

Picked up this little gem nice and cheap, my friend purchased it to get the plate from it , and as such i managed to wangle a deal with him as i needed a run about and my r5 fix.

The car stunk of dogs, so i spent almost half a day hoovering the thing, lowered it and drove it and its been great.

I dont think r5's this shape really come more retro, Its slow, very slow, great on fuel and a great hoot, bodyworks real straight , the sills have had a few mot welding repairs one of which will need redoing before mot , but im super happy with my purchase.

    Looks great!

That's the colour I've been waiting for someone to do a GTT in. It's lush.

The interior, barring front seats and door cards seems to have come up a treat

Btw, I'd stick the mats through the washing machine. Much less work

That's correct mate but I've sold the parts to you Mojo? lol

I got fairly few lefts to sell such as shell on dolly as front end suspension parts sold with rare sliding sunroof, doors, tailgate and 1.7 engine/box 😉👍

Looks good, cheap on fuel and a hoot to drive gotta be a win win, could be a good winter runaround or spare car, then maybe drop a c1j in later on
