Not unless its leaking/has a stuck piston.

It shouldnt be. On the gauge it seems 2psi less with it in place.

How does a recirc one work. In words i can understand lol

As opposed to what, running without?

Rather than dumping the air to atmosphere, it returns the dumped charge air to the air inlet line between the air filter and the turbo compressor housing to aid spool-up/keep the turbine spinning.

    yeah thats what i though.

the standard recirc doesnt lose 2psi. its made of plastic.

The usual black plastic Bosch no doubt then. Stick the OE re-circ back on then?

It depends what rate spring you have. If you have black Bosch one or Forge ally replica they should cope bit over 20psi if in good working order.

    Hmm, this is adjustable?

What would be the point of an adjustable recirc D/V.

On mine all i know is that if it isnt around 0.8 0.9 bar my car goes into limp mode.

Same one as "normal" adjustable dump valve. You adjust piston tension on which pressure you want valve to start dump the air.

on the forge i think i put a green spring in and stretched it a bit, was nice because it only 'dumped' with proper boost not pissy half throttle because it got annoying going off every 30seconds

Same thing here but mine was doing that with green spring inside. Bought it as "group A" BBPT DV. I took it off anyways
