williams re-build, got a few bits left over!!!!

    First post!

    Evening gents,

Just re-built the engine for our Clio Williams track slag project and as with any good project I have a couple of bits left over.

Picture 1 is of an engine brace type thing, I remember needing to take this off to get the engine out but can’t for the life of me remember where it came from or spot any obvious home for it.

Picture 2 is of quite a chunky plate/bracket.

Hopefully someone will be able to offer a home/function for these items, and with any luck I won’t need to take the engine out to re-install them.

    Cheers

First one is a bracket that connects to the dogbone mount i think

Second one attaches to the drivers side of the inlet manifold

nice one, your correct, i got the answers off cliowilliams.co.uk this morning. does the dogbone link go onto the gearbox or back onto the chassis? it doesn't look as if it can be doing much!!!!
