    Adjustable Timing Sensor

I was thinking of buying a "Fully Adjustable Timing Sensor"as it is advertized on a tuners' site in order to mess with the timing. Is it worth its price or it's an overpriced part which you can find much cheaper elsewere.Thank you in advance for your answers.

Have a look in the "Articles" section.

    Re: Adjustable Timing Sensor

You can modify yours with few hummer taps. You just need to make sensor slide on the "half moon" and take another old timing sensor and make squeezing bracket.

It is original Renault timing sensor that has additional bracket that is rough guide how much advance/retard you're running.

I would suggest not to make huge steps in advancing the timing. Something around 4 to 6 would be OK without any additional work on fueling and boost.

We are planning on experimenting with high octane fuel that is why I asked.I hope the parts of the poor c1j wont get into orbit when the explosion occurs.

Be carefull with that. 6 degreed is enough to make a standard engine detonate at only 18psi, even with good afr!
