    Funny you should say that!

I pulled my raider from underneath the cover today, taxed it & gave it a clean, & nipped down the garage to pump the tyres up.

Whilst i was out i saw a 205 GTI 1.6 and a MK 2 Escort Ghia in really good nick!! Seems this sun is bringing all the old cars out of their hidey holes!!

Was it a 1.6i Ghia packed with a load of 'bad boys', I remember my mate having one kitted up with graphics years ago

No, it was being driving very "cautiously" by a guy aged about 119. My guessing is that it was a one owner from new, used once a week for the shop run, example

Oh i'd love one of them too!!

My first car was a MK1 Astra so the GTE was always the top model i'd used to dream about!

I saw a mk2 16V GTE the other day for the first time in ages. I nearly bought one of those about 10 years ago. There used to be a red one near me that had the number plate, GTE 16V. That's still one of the best/most suited number plates i've ever seen.

    Re: 80's rides everywhere

There's been loads of cool cars out lately.
This week I've seen a red and a pearly Audi Quattro.
    A mint Lancia Delta.

And on the way to and from Richies earlier there were loads of cool old classics on the A6.
