a 500hp 5 dyno would be met with total derision. We've seen enough BS dyno work to know what's what. I think it was Scoff who had a dyno sheet for his car that was around 200hp optimistic - at the time the operator swore his dyno was totally accurate.

There is a reason why we're only interested in trap speeds on this site, get back to back traps at a real drag strip, then talk the talk. At a guess he'd be looking at 140mph, one of the drag guys would know better.

My 260hp GTT traps at 120mph.

The lad i know with the corsa turbo pulled a 12.09 at 136mph and still spinning in 4th with toyo r888's. if he can get the grip down it should pull an 11second quater soon

well the nova turbos are damn quick little motors but with a well setup 5 running some sensible boost your gonna stick with him on the straights in alot of cases up and over a ton is the only time they are gonna see you in there mirros

i own a 2.1 turbo nova aswell as me 5 turbo, as much as i love my 5 i could never see it being reliably as powerfull as my nova, hense why i still have both. they are two completely different cars. love them both gyeah

sorry to hear about getting shat on by a nova, not much of a nova anymore in my opinion but anyway i have a few mates that hang around the racing scene in brum and they tell me this nova down there was doing scoobies and skylines so dont be too upset lol!

I never had trouble doing scobbies in the five, one springs to mind that kept up thats about it. I know my five would kill my M3 to a ton and that eats scobbies for breakfast.
