    Motorbike silencers on cars?

What are peoples thoughts on this?

I'm not thinking for asthetics but more for they're weight benifits..

Do they flow as much air as a gtt silencer or would I need two? and I assume a standard bike silencer would bring the noise level down to an exceptable level particularly on a n/a.

Cant answer your questions, but a good few years back my mate had a R1 end can for the backbox on his 1.6 16v polo, sounded quiete nice..

well, it depends on what bike its aimed for....

a hyabusa one would be aimed at flowing 180bhp's worth of gas a very high velocity, bearing in mind how high bikes rev....

an R1 is about 170bhp's worth? but dont forget they are revving twice as high as your gtt will.

if its over 2inch you should be fine for up to 200bhp.
