i had an iffy speedo reading,so i have just fitted a new one piece speedo wire,also just had a gearbox rebuild.now i don't get any speedo readings.any ideas why?
could it possibly be anything to do with the box?as the speedo itself was getting some readings before..

maybe just a loose wire m8 my speedo didnt work the other day so just gave the wire at the back a wiggle if not maybe gear box side

Was the old speedo still fitted after the gearbox rebuild, or have you had no readings since the rebuild? If it's since the rebuild, I'd be tempted to suspect the speedo sensor isn't lining up with the toothed ring.

If the speedo was working, then I'd the suspect the connection at the back of the speedo. Worth double checking the sensor is in it's hole properly.

the old speedo cable was replaced with the new one,the same time the box was fitted.i am quite certain it was fitted to the box the same way as the old one,but i will have another check,just to be sure.
