    Pah, old news

Latest news is that Brawn/Mercedes have just offered a stupendous amount of moolah for Schumy to make a come back, assuming his neck is fixable.

Rosberg & Heidfeld were pencilled in from the off but like you say, unless Schuey is upto it, can't see that changing much

Alonso/Vettel to be world champ next year...

    I'd prefer Alonso though

    More news...

Kimi's now confirmed as a wrc driver @ Citroen next year.

Peter Sauber has successfully taken over his old outfit/BMW due to the FIA giving him the last slot on the F1 grid. That's 26 cars next year! Should make the start/first corner of each race somewhat more interesting

And anyone fancy a bet that David Richards/Prodrive takes over Renault F1 (with Renault to still supply the engines though)...

This was mentioned on BBC news this morning. Do you think Prodrive could really finance an F1 team? Dont get me wrong, be great if they could.

Re: Thoughts for this year's F1 championship?

will be a shame to see Ranault go but I'm pretty resigned to it now.... would have to switch my support to Red Bull then if Renault remain as an engine supplier....

    Well I stand corrected!

Schumacher for WC in 2010? I wouldn't bet against it as long as Mecedes can build a race winning car. :ho:

Personally i think this is great for the sport - for next year at least. Adds a bit more spice to the grid. JRP, what are the odds? I fancy a tenner on him to win
