I was after some cam lube when I was doing my rebuild and found it suprisingly hard to come by? I called Piper and they advised me to just use fresh engine oil to lube the cam.

I get it from here, £2.28 for 100ml bottle.

Can't go wrong. You have to phone them though, you can't order from the site.

graphogen thats what i use im sure. black in colour and an absolute pain to wash off your hands seems to do the job when inspecting my engine i didnt have any score marks on the bearings or crank so i was happy.

the good thing about the C engine is

when you fill it with oil you fill up the cam bath (basicaly the cam sits in an oil bath).thats why you cant use flushing oil.

so there is no point to geting special lub for ya cam on a C engine.
very differnt story if it was OHC

Actually big fella, I think it was me. I remember saying something about it.

I'm on my fourth new cam anyways, hence my fourth cam 'break in', and the followers were all in great nich every time, so something good must be going on.
