    Alright - Golf GTi Mk2 8v

Im moving into my new place at the end of the month and have been given a shabby Golf GTi 8v 3 door for doing so.

Im hoping to get rid of the MR2 Turbo this month so that will put some cash in my pocket.

I want to use the Golf as a track day car but with that puny 112BHP its a bit limp wristed.

What work is invloved in fitting the Audi TT 1.8T engine into the shell?

I dont feel like flying around the track come National Day in my 7 series auto

At least it won't leave you stranded on the hard shoulder in a foreign country

Same mountings near enough, just need to make an ofside one if i remember rightly. I was going to do the 2.0l 16v turbo conversion use the 16v gti head, on the 2.0l bottom end VR6 flywheel and clutch, standard mk2 box and custom manifold! BOOST!

This isn't really going to help in any way, but I feel like stating it anyway... I used to have a brilliant walk through guide for the vag conversion into a mk2 Golf, i've now lost it.
