    retro gaming

    Anybody into retro gaming, ive recently been playing through little big adventure on ps1.. just somthing i didnt complete many years ago , so ive gone back to it now.

    I remeber playing that on my PC (Elonex 386 16mhz with 16mb ram and 100MB HDD that was the dog nads at the time) donkey years ago quiet funny. Indiana Jones and the last crusade was also a fav on the PC

    Or what about the old Sinclair ZX spectrum 'rubber keys' , cassette gaming

    I remember Horice goes skiing, what a game

    Probably sounding older than I am now

    I used to put the cassette tape in and leave it to load while i was at school so it would be ready to play when I got home

    yea, my retro gaming goes well byond ps1, just the current thigns im playing on, i still have a few 386's and a zx etc knocking about, jet set willy rocked. !

    Hmm mine has to be, well i think that is was called the nez or super nintendo i cant remember but it was the one with lil rectangle pads oh and i had duck hunt with the gun. What a game! I think i might wip it out tonight

    i remember the days when i had a commodore vic20! i loved it, remember games like boulder dash, hoppit, under mine?
    after the vic20 i went for the amiga a500 favs game had to be shadow of the beast along with monkey island, also remember lotus esprit turbo challange?

    OMG the depression i experienced after waiting 15 mins for a game to load and then it crashing!! Fav games from memory were stunt racer, disco dan, nigel mansells GP and hunt for red october. The other bad boy was the commodor 64! Rambo first blood, Top Gun and football manager!! happy days.

    That would be the nes mate, 8mb. Super nintendo was a whole double 16mb!

    All about Dizzy on the Spectrum

    Only game and console I reguarly play is Mario Kart on my SNES or maybe Mortal Kombat in gore mode on my Mega Drive, I have a collection of consoles

    i started on the atari 2600 with games like keystone capers, dodgems, and pole position

    still a mad fan of retro gaming, my favourite being the badboy of the early 90s, my neo geo aes, this was way ahead of its time where the games were direct exact copies of the arcade versions, art of fighting, king of fighters anyone? they still make games for it today nearly 20 years after it launched

    I remember this console! Was'nt the games about £100 each and that was in about 93/94!?!!

    Still got the wood fronted Atari 2600 with stacks of games, joysticks and paddles in the loft.

    Now thats retro

    I still play all my fav retro arcade games on M.A.M.E on my pc.

    bubble bobble, rygar, ghosts n goblins, tron, kung-fu master, track n field, Mr.Do etc..

    yes mate thats right, the rare ones these days can command over 1k on ebay

    its a proper bad boy tho, it was the first console to have a slot for a memory card and a meaty arcade style joystick came as standard

    i want a pc engine next tho, thats also a beast!
