    what does the fuel filter look like

    Ok just checking is the gt turbo Fuel filter metal with 2x threaded connections, 1 of either end.

    the fuel pump is the one with 2x wires coming off it an the other 'coke can'
    sized one is the fuel filter....with an arrow for flow direction.....

    Fuel filter shouldn't have threaded ends on it, the hoess just push on over them and not thread on.

    ahh **** i thought that was possibly the case mark , it appears the boffins at motormania supplied me the wrong one gayy

    where do most folks buy there fuel filter from ? as its the second incorrect filter now

    ph1's are clear plastic, mine had a metal coke can one on, was bigger than the one listed for my car and eventually found its the same as a mk2 golf 1.8 gti?!?

    i allways buy genuine fuel filters but you can get the from most motor factors cud try cgb or gsf renualt supply me with a plastic filter but u can get a metal 1

    They have changed from the metal ones to plastics ones now, different manufacture, but work just as well and they will not rust.
