what seats does everyone like reclining or fixed back bucket seat or standard ones
and ive just got a deal going from a company wil a shed load of seats available if your needing any pic let me know other wise i will post them up shortly in the for sale section with prices

i have a basic cobra bucket in mine, its gash but its safer than the standard seats that collapse
A very good point. GTT seats are really badly made, and 20 odd years of nutsing it around town with a fat git parked in them has done them no favours, especially where the wick has been turned up! You have to be careful with the no-name aftermarket seat brands/ replica seats though. A lot of them are really dangerous.
I'd say stick to the decent brands and avoid fleabay purchases unless you can be very sure the seats are genuine. Be careful of anything second hand. In date FIA approval is nice to have, especially if it goes on track.
Then make sure they are bolted in right!

im forking out on my 205 for a set of sparco Evos , gorjus comfy well made seats, but you do pay for them , i may then get a set of subframes to go in the r5 so i can just swap them over at will
I'm 1/2 looking for a light weight race seat, possibly one with sticky out bits for my helmet to bounce off next time I stick it in a wall...

i like my kirkeys they also do the head set ect there accesory list is quite good also.
i do perfect seats for that kind of situation

you might notice the passenger window disappearing over the tyre wall..
I find the edges too severe on those, you're likely to snap a flailing limb.
put some links up, I'll have a peek when I get back from the pub. If you get chance to weigh them rather than rely on the manufacturers highly inaccurate claims I'd be glad of that info too.

my helmet is pretty light too, a heavy fibreglass thing may have given my neck a bit more of a tweak too.

I think they're a bloody awfull seat as seats go, but, they're light which is why I have them. the chair on it's own is about 5kg I think. I have allu subframes also, the whole chair and subframe in my car is 7kg, a 10kg saving over the previous bucket chair and steel subframe. Unfortunately some of the events I want to enter this year insist on atleast 2 front seats hence my purchase of a second.
