    Re: E.G.T sensor

i run vems afr/egt gauge and my sensor has just knackered up(my own fault),so i went to order one and didnt realise there were 2 types n/a sensor/turbo sensor the turbo sensor is wayy thicker and its advised not to run n/a sensor on a turbo car as it can break offhttp://www.vems.co.uk/VEMSWB/UserGuide/README.html

my dad runs 4 egt probes on his turbo 2 there mounted right next to the exhaust ports (hottest part)

I like it, so he can monitor each cylinder exhaust temp to help identify any problems?

that was the idea it will also show if one of the water injection jets gets blocked as hes running a jet per cylinder on the inlet
