Where abouts on the mainfold should I be putting the egt sensor? Ive not got the sensor in my hands at the mo but it should be here from stack by the end of the week, whats are the hottest temps I should be seeing?

i have put mine just before the turbo into the manifold.
Yep, pre turbo, thats where i had mine.
not its alot smaller. like 13mm spanner to screw it in.
i run vems afr/egt gauge and my sensor has just knackered up(my own fault),so i went to order one and didnt realise there were 2 types n/a sensor/turbo sensor the turbo sensor is wayy thicker and its advised not to run n/a sensor on a turbo car as it can break offhttp://www.vems.co.uk/VEMSWB/UserGuide/README.html
my dad runs 4 egt probes on his turbo 2 there mounted right next to the exhaust ports (hottest part)
that was the idea it will also show if one of the water injection jets gets blocked as hes running a jet per cylinder on the inlet
