I know we have spoken about this before and I am not sure where we are next year. But...
Would it be at all possible for us a club to subsidise in some form Robbies trip over?
By that I mean could we realise free weekend tickets for them or have a rally round to part fund their trip over?
I am more than happy to support and add a fund myself.
Thoughts please?

i said about this last year i could setup a donate somehow and see what they have in the paypal pot at the end and then transfer it to them the tickets are already subsidised but we could see what the club could do but as the club is currently trying to save coffers the donate would be the best way dan

im testing addon now think rob would be happy with anything raised £10 from all 40 going weekend etc would cover his ferry

just installing and setting up addon ill switch on once settings correct the paypal address used for it will be mine but everyone can see a record of it only confirmed funds will be sent to rob also bear in mind paypal may take fees 3.4% plus 20p when making a donation

I just visited the site and was presented with a message asking for money instead of the normal forum view.

I think that is sending a wrong message to the membership. RTOC is NOT asking all the embers for extra money. They all already paid £15.

And the text of this needs to be altered as the 180 members will get the wrong idea and wonder what this is about.

Clicking on the above link, reading the small print I see that it does explain what it's about. But it's not at all obvious enough. I suggest removing it from the top of the forum view. Just have it in the side bar, and that should be worded in there to explain that the RTOC IS NOT ASKING FOR MONEY but that it's for a specific cause.

Would Robbie want to be paid in Euros as he's in Southern Ireland and might be paying for the ferry in Euros?

Cost over €500 to travel from Ireland to England with a car and trailer ridiculous prices and there's only two crossings so can charge what they like😬
