    Rear pads knackered with rubbing

Recently the rear of my car has been making a bad noise so got it in the garage for a look today with my dad.As you can see the passenger side pads are awful.Where do i get a new rubber for the piston? Gonna order new pads tomorow and maybe calipers. The driver side isnt as bad. Will have been spending a bit extra on petrol with the back brakes on so bad! Should have checked them earlier really.

new re-con calipers are £40 each = your old caliper. pads £8 from my local EK brakes.

i just cleaned my old ones up and going to replace in the furture , they are ok for another year i hope, cleaned them up last year for mot they were shot again so i sort yesterday

the caliper piston needed a bit of wet n dry to clean the crap off them.

were ya from in cumbria again ? my cars all sweet again now so might have a run out up your way up the windy/twisty roads

Well you might as well ...I can't remember ,have a look and see .The piston is not in the kit ,you can buy that separately or not .I think the piston was £19 and the refurb kit which is rubbers slider pins etc was £24 .It'll most likely be cheaper for 5 stuff .
