    loss of power

Driving home late last night when I felt something that was not quite right, it was ok off boost but when i went to put my foot in a little and it came on boost it died and started to slow quickly until it cut out. I got out of the car and had a little look around and did not spot anything obvious. I phoned for recovery and then by the time I had got off the phone I thought I would give it a try, I wound the bleed valve right in and then it fired straight up, I dont think this has anything to do with it? A week ago I opened up the bleed valve and it started running real rich whats going on?
