ok after the big RETRO SHOW at pod its come to my attention that the banners i designed some people may want these to display in there garages so im going to get some made to go in the club shop
3ft high by 6ft long THICK PVC
the price would be around £40 delivered ish for members and more for non members
would there be any interest?

ok these are now at printers soon as i get them they will go in shop
i have currently have 3 banners 3ft x 6ft long, there in there already but need turning on, ill be sending them out as dale has to much merchandice at his already
ill get more made if theres a place for them
not sure of price atm but members will only pay what we have
also these are not dated james as
1 i didnt have year printed as they need to be ready for FCS
2 its a faff doing each year mr sargent

scanned a cling and going to work to that will take a while but ill get there what we having
was going to run cling with year 1994 as thats when it started and also wording like "encorparated into the RTOC"

Just a thought but run it as a competition. The design with the most votes wins and the winner gets a 30 quid voucher for the shop or something. No reason comitee can't enter as voting would be open to all members to decide the winner.
but the problem with that is you cant please everyone and it needs to be in the realms of what can be done and look clear on the banner

No I don't have anything. Would look like a 5 year olds work if I designed one.
I guess you could use the GTturbo.org web address as it should point to the same page. Put RTOC.org on there too.
The former club name became the latter club name with the intent of including more models and widening the membership, it wasn't absorbed into RTOC. That was in about 2000 or so. I was there at the meeting, at Pod, but I don't recall which year.

I Agree we should have the 'rtoc.org' on there too. We have had very good feedback for the merchandise recently. I feel these banners will do better that the rtoc one.

I think for me first impression is to loose the diamonds. They over power the original artwork? I think use the full original artwork but maybe slide in at the bottom the RTOC logo within Web address?
The second one could work actually with the presents....... but just remove the lower rtoc wording and the diamonds. Just ideas by the way......
Maybe change 'since' to 'Est.' as in established?
these are all easy to change once ive done the logo artwork which will take sone time to perfect as once its blown up will look shite otherwise, we sticking with the yellow? diamonds removed?
if i remove diamonds logo can stretch are through centre
Edit: same bright yellow background, black wording and the graphic same colour as the original diamonds?
i can make the logo 1 colour silver?? or black? any other colour ?

but once art done i can colour change

I think there a clash of fonts.
The RTOC needs to match the GTT font. Or it's a mess.

the gt turbo is the badge of car not sure on the r5gt part inside car
going to take ages anywayz as no one has logo artwork ive got to make it a solid colour as banner shows slighest imperfessions
looks good but I would loose the diamonds and have it all the yellow back ground, or even black back ground
more done today but this is a knightmare using red atm cause its easier to see every pixel ill show later

Mick stop the slacking and sort it out
Think RTOC owes you big time for all this I know how much time this has taken you, maybe RTOC should start buying your tickets for events as a thank you seeing as you ask for nothing and do it as your a decent guy(small gesture i know for what you have done but its nice to be appreciated)

once done ill need input for this banner think i got most sorted now
the logo has 2 fonts ive found one very similar to the one in the car part of the logo
except for the C so ill probably use that
Easy answer to that - sorry, I don't.
It might have been easier to send what you had to my mate Christian to process and vector rather than attempt it yourself mate. In any case, where is the artwork that the printing guys use to produce the clings? That should already be in the correct format and quality.

Im sure someone re-created the clings a while back, but i think it was from a scanned original? However, the artwork must be with someone from that proofing exercise surely?
