They sound like clio 16v ones? Have you an old gt one go measure against?

Yep, have a look on my build thread.

I had to trim the drivers side as it hit the subframe, the passenger side was fine.

    Re: Front Wishbones

So they just need one, or both, of the bushes pushed though a bit?

And the arms are the same?

    Re: Front Wishbones

the bushes on mine were good on the LHS and about 0.5 mm too tight on the right so I levered them in.....i removed a small bit from 3 of the "ears"
so i have full movement now!
i also found that if i put on the ARB bracket the holes did'nt line up and needed about 1mm removed from them(too close to the balljoint flange)
so now i'm in the processs of trying to get the ARB end bushes fitted.....fun tomorrow!!

    Re: Front Wishbones

I see it now in the photo; some of the rear upper corner of the arm has to be ground off.

Are the original arms no longer available from Renault?

    Re: Front Wishbones

A quick search of the part numbers suggests genuine arms would be around £220 for the pair plus the dreaded, assuming they are still available of course. Also nothing to say Renault in their infinite wisdom wont have crossed it over to another part if the originals are no longer available.

    Re: Front Wishbones

    Thanks for that info.

That's disappointing as my 5 needs a pair as the ball joint mounting holes ovalised (10 years ago just before I SORN'd it) and I didn't buy them then when they might have been £40 or something each. I'm still not in a hurry to by them as It not looking any nearer to me being able to get that car going but it's just going to become even more expensive to repair / restore.
