    Back from the dead B18GTT

I thought I might as well start another project thread on a car that should have long been scrapped. Ive had it for years and the last five years its been sat in a damp council garage. It's in a right sorry state but I haven't got the heart to scrap it. So I decided to make a start last weekend assessing how bad it:

And on with the repairs. I'm starting with the inner and outer full sills as even the rear quarter is shot:

Top effort! Are you doing the work outside?

I guess a lot 5's left on the road have either had this work done or will need it in the not so distant future. Have you ever tackled anything like this before?

Your a proper champ to tackle it!
Mine was not half as bad.
I was worrying. But I'm at the near end I'm getting it delivered back to me and got put it back together iv got to try and fit the body kit.
can I ask as you have done a few what's the best way or to use to fit the arch body kit back as my screws were no good once removed?

I recommend you go go Halford and buy the plastic number plate nut and bolt kit. Cut the head off the bokts and bond in the bolts on the arches and use with the plastic nuts. You can do the same with the main body kit too at the bottom although just use the bolt and nuts complete. Alternatively buy some plastic threaded bar with nuts.
