    Help - Clutch pedal eating into carpet !!

    any ideas ? I need to sort soon or I will be through the floor pan ...

    Its a common issue this especially with a worn clutch and/or the cable incorrectly tensions or stretched. Have a look at the clutch pedal quaaudrant assembly and check for signs of wear. It may just want resetting and to do this you can either pull the gears apart and depress the pedal with your hand or slip your foot off the pedal so it comes up quickly. You will need to remove the stop block firstly and then refit.

    Make sure you have your matt under the pedal so it cant bite into the carpet, but also for the reset.
