    F4R rebuild, tune

    I've recently bought a Renault Laguna 2 F4R 712 (135Hp).
As the oil consumption is a bit too high I'm planning to rebuild it. (It has 260.000kms)
But what a shame would it be to rebuild it to the same spec.
So I'd like to get some power out of it.
What should I do? Can I use the cams of a 172 engine? Or maybe the complete cylinder head?
As I know the intake is very small on the Laguna.
I'd like to keep it NA. For a turbo project I have my GTT in the garage.

    Many thanks

If its an f4r then I guess most parts could be interchangeable. Thing is, would it not be better to drop the 172 engine in?

Only problem is the MOT. They could check the engine number.
And as there wasn't any 172 engine in the Laguna from factory there is no official way to change the engine.
