    F4R fuel system

A couple of questions that'll significantly reduce some headaches of mine.

What fuel pump (or pumps) do i need to get enough pressure? the conversion guide says the bosch 044 but i thought that amount of pressure would be a bit excessive and i could get away with less as its never going to be turbo'd. Thoughts?

And does there have to be a pump fed return line from the rail to the tank or can it just be a one way system?

Unfortunetley i dont have vast knowledge on setting up fuel systems so any information would be a big help and also potentially get me a step closer. Thanks fellaaass

For an N/A conversion then yes the 044 is excessive and not needed but the std gtt pump is not enough, you just need an external injector pump of a similair size N/A engine. You will need a return to the tank so you are prob best getting hold of a clio 1.8 16v fuel rail for the conversion as this has the fpr on the rail and a return port for the tank, you then just need to extend the existing gtt fuel lines to the fuel rail, ditching the gtt FPR.

The other way is you could return to tank via the regulator. This way means you only have a feed to the rail.

Grab any decent in line fuel pump from a 2.0L engined car. An 044 pump would still work and would be good if you tune the f4r in the future.

So what did the original f4r engine have if it didnt have a return? and its going into a campus so im going to have to make a whle new fuel system essentially so h/p fuel pump inline and then a smaller for the return.
