    Weekend Jobs on the car

So with the great weather who got a few bits done on the car this weekend?

Got a few jobs done on my daily this weekend however, the raider did get a much needed bath as appeared to have alot of ash stuck to it. Did take it out a few times and covered 75 miles, fitted new battery tray and thinking carb needs a rebuild as 'morning starting' is rather time consuming and shocking! lol.

Nothing this weekend unfortunately. I'm in the process if refurbishing the axle, which is nearly done. I've found some rust that needs some work so that's my next port of call.

Got the headgasket swapped on the cup car last weekend which was nice.

This weekend I went to silverstone for the BTTC. Look what I found whilst walking round the pits

I took my 5 out for a drive up to Northampton to play RC drift cars
I got a few nods from guys in some super cars on the way home. They must've been at the BTCC.

Re: Weekend Jobs on the car

Started painting a few bits of the 5 in my spray booth/parents empty greenhouse!

Sorry for the vast amount of pics! I'm happy with the finish for my first time properly spraying something, it's nothing a bit of colour sanding and polishing wouldn't fix! Hoping for ok weather again next weekend for a few more panels to get done!

    Cheers

    Steve
