    Mini Cooper S

I was asked to remove the stripes on this nice little Cooper S and give it a bit of a lift in gloss ready for a big meet.
This was one of those days where there was a lot to do in a day. Then the owner needed it finished earlier.... then I couldn't start until later.
So 5 hours to turn this one around. This meant there wasn't really time for photos so out came the phone for a few snaps along the way.

I didn't take any full before shots of the car. it had recent'y been lowered, new wheels and exhaust fitted.

The wheels and tyres were cleaned with AF Imperial and a range of brushes.

    Prewash

While that was dwelling all the nooks and crannies were cleaned out using more Avalanche and Envy brushes.
Rinsed off, two bucket wash, dried and ready for stripe removal.

There was a small amount of adhesive residue left behind, and a bit of build up of old polish along the edges.

The car received it's decon stages - lots of Tardis, Decon Gel and finally clayed.

I then moved onto polishing. As time was short only the bonnet, roof and tailgate were polished with Sonax perfect Finish to remove swirling and evidence of the old stripes.
The sides and bumpers were treated with AF Tripple by machine. Chrome trims were done using Tripple by hand.

The car was given a coat of Wolfgang Fuzion.

The plastic trims were dressed in AF Revive.

    Tyres with Meg's Endurance.
Glass polished outside with AutoGlym, inside cleaned with AF Crystal.
    Exhaust polished.
    Wheels sealed with G|techniq C2.

The interior was given a quick hoover and wipe down with AF Total.

A second layer of Fuzion was then applied.

    Thanks for reading

    Scratcher thread!

5hrs is not a lot when starting from ground zero. I hope the guy appreciated that.

Looks great, and much better without the stripes.

    Thanks guys
They sure did. It's a young lady that owns the car, she was gobsmacked with the difference. She was scared to drive it, haha.

Trev, I have a couple more I could put up... maybe this car?
