I tried to get my old one back but its been sold onH496 ECW White phase 2 gt turbo
What sort of money do i need to be looking at to get a project? i was hoping 1500.00 but seems that most on ebay are 2200.....

Leloby is his user name hes stripped it out and turned it into a track day car with the yellow and black rally stickers on it. White r5s always seem to have a story behind them lol jrp

He moved on in Sep 2006 and RTOC has been run by a committee since then.

Another significant thing that's happened since you were here last is the scale of reduction in both 5GTT's and, accordingly, RTOC members. Maybe 1500 members then, about 375 now.
One breaker I know, local to me, said he personally scrapped 300 5GTT's and sold the parts.
And the price has gone up quite a lot. I sold a quite good tungy 5GTT 5 years ago, with no engine, dropped doors and needing new jacking points, for about £200 which would be worth maybe £2000 now, if not more.
I know the bloke you sold it to, Kenny, love his retro motors, just loves fords more than Renaults.
Shame he sold it on, he did a bit of work on it, it had new jacking points, rear calipers and a turbo and it was a good motor
