    clock trouble

Got the car started up a while back but been struggling with the clocks. When i turn the ignition on all i get is a constantly illuminated passenger indicator, no warning lights etc.

As far as the earths go i have cleaned up and refitted the following:

    -behind rear passenger light
    -hand brake
-passenger footwell, (can't see anything in drivers side)
    -one behind each headlight
-main earth strap between engine and bulk head

    Have i missed any?

Ok, have you tried another set of clocks just incase there is a wiring issue with the existing ones? Are all clock connectors/wiring in good conidtion? fuses ok?

    Re: clock trouble

Have tried campus clocks with no joy but not sure if its just because they are wrong.
Its a newly repaired dash loom from gt turbo spares so surely i can count that out.
Fuses are all fine. Anyone got a photo diagram of the connector of doom? I recently cut the old one off and put on new connectors. I obv did it like for like but there was a xouple wires that never connected to another cable of the opposing plug. Is this correct?

Does the car still start and run since this problem started?

Here are the two sides of the standard connector, taken from the article https://www.rtoc.org/boards/showthread.php?t=37236.

    See next post.

Also, here is a list of earth places, https://www.rtoc.org/files/Technical%...HARNESSES.JPG:

Also, in the same section are the wiring diagrams, including the instrument panel wire identification and a separate file listing what the colour codes mean.

    https://www.rtoc.org/files/?path=Tech...ng%20diagrams/

And lastly, the old article which explains how to read and interpret the Renault wiring diagrams:

    Re: clock trouble

Changed a bulb on my instrument cluster on my monaco turned out one of the 3 connectors wasnt seated properly. It illumenated the passenger indicator light on the dash not outside and also the rear heater light stayed on. Was sorted after recconecting in the light. Hope yours is something as simple as that, wiring can be a nightmare.
