Yes 8mm I/D is what you want. Some use 10mm for high powered cars.

I'm pretty sure it's 5/16" or 8mm OD, not ID.

    Woz,

I would go for 3/8 OD with an internal of 8mm:

    8 mm is the one!

done mine about 8+ years ago.

Practice the bends using a 30mm socket in an engineering vice.

Use the old lines as a pattern.

Bit of an issue there. The old lines were just replaced with rubber! Haha

I was sure it's 8mm OD so will be good to see how you get on.

    Re: Replacement copper fuel lines

What's the best way to join the rubber sections to the copper lines? Do the lines need flaring out at all? If so what's the best way?

    Cheers

    Re: Replacement copper fuel lines

So pretty much just squeeze the copper line inside the rubber section and seal with a fuel line clip/jubilee clip?

Yep, that's what I've done. Obviously make sure the fuel hose is a good tight fit over the copper line.

    Re: Replacement copper fuel lines

Solder a copper olive on and then heat the rubber hose until flexible enough to push over.

How did you get on with this mate? Any difficulties?

I plan to do this at the weekend so any tips would be helpful.

    Thanks
