Lol if you connect to the other terminal with the black wire on you get the starter still running wen dis-engaged like I did when I fitted a new unit a month later .

Lol, did the same mate. just ordered a new starter now and have spent the whole weekend sorting out the problem result one toad alarm out the garage door too.
