    Power assisted steering?

I got a clio Williams/16v pas complete rack and tried to fit it today. What parts are needed to convert from the original ph1 splined UJ to the clio's square shaft input?

My ph1 Column end is left with the u shaped bit (top of knuckle) but it fouls the square shaft. Do I need to change the column?

    Re: Power assisted steering?

You need the bottom part of the Clio column with the universal joint it will fit into the Gtt column you will need to shorten the Clio column about an inch as its longer,
Hope this helps or makes sense:

    Re: Power assisted steering?

No welding the shaft just puts apart its sleeved just shorten one end more so it slides back up more into the column
