    powder coating durability.

    Hello..

    Have read through a couple of resto threads on here where people have had their brakes powder coated..

    Is this durable? does the heat not crack the powder coat? this is assuming that standard powder coat is used.

    Wouldn't mind getting some done one day but more out of interest really.

    Powdercoating is pretty durable stuff, more so than pain I would say. My brakes are painted with Hammerite (with a brush) and that's been fine, even with lots of heat!

    I used engine enamel on the track car.................didn't work it melted and all came off, rofl!!!
