    Moving header bottle

    I would like to move my header tank to passenger side behind headlight but not sure what hoses to get or where to route them has any 1 got any pics or what hoses to buy thankyou

    It's on passenger side as std

    Could you just use the hoses you already have and cut them

    You only need to cut 2 hoses and extend 1 hose, I will find some pic's as I run this setup on mine

    Webber, just use the 'search' function on the black line near the top of the screen/thread and simply type in 'header tank relocation' and you should get all the replies you need. Note there are several different locations that people have used for various reasons, so lots of options. The main reason for moving the header tank is to make space for a 'Cossie style' air filter.

    Brilliant woznaldo thanks for the advise loads of threads came up, I went to gt turbo spares yesterday and brought loads of stuff, mike said about a cossie filter, is it a cone wich is ment for a cossie that I need as are they bigger thanks

    I'm not sure what the exact one you need is, as there are a few, but the Cossie cone air filter was one of the largest. Plenty of options. When I was looking I wanted one with a decent ram pipe base as this assists with flow.

    Thats exactly the one I used to run on my 5. Really made you hear the turbo a lot better too. Only problem I had was after about 12 years () the foam seemed to dry out and fall apart.

    Thanks for putting up link, what pipe work did u run as will need a reducer won't I, it lasted 12 yrs, wow you had 1 good engine as read most r5 engines don't last that long
