Check your rear tyres for marks on the edges it could be the bumper holders I used to get a straight line across mine.

    Re: scraping noise

the little bit of metal that sticks out where the bumper ends...mine does that same with a full car. as stated above should see where its rubbed the tyre away close to the side wall. think dropping down to 195 45 15s will help.

Or just whipping out the offending useless metal with a grinder. Much cheaper!

The reason you are now getting rubbing from going to the 15's is that your rolling radius is slightly bigger now as you are using a 50 profile tyre hence some scrubbage, either change to a 45 profile, or work out where catching, more than likely the rear bumper needs to be moved back to allow clearance. Mike and Mike aka R5MJH on here at the same issue with 16" alloys

if it's the metal grind it back, but it will be the same issue peeps have with the 16" alloys and that will be rear bumper needs pushing back for clearance

    Re: scraping noise

If it's the bumper it will wear it's own neat little path eventually

On 195/50/15's, unless the wheel is over 7J wide, or a dodgy offset, the bumper shouldn't be too much of a problem.
